Quore is a cloud-based software that has been created to streamline work flow and communication by bringing essential hotel operations into a single location. By streamlining a hotel’s operations Quore helps hotels further guest satisfaction, staff productivity, and cost-containment while increasing communication and accountability. Quore supports some of the hotel industry’s largest brands, including IHG, Marriott, Hilton, and Choice.
Room to Grow
Visitors to Quore’s website needed a clearer and more immediate understanding of the software’s key features and how it could positively impact both their guests and staff. The existing homepage was failing to effectively communicate these critical aspects, making it difficult for potential customers to grasp the software’s value proposition at a glance. As a result, there was a disconnect between the website’s presentation and the users’ immediate needs, which hindered engagement and conversion rates. To address this, I initiated a comprehensive redesign with a focus on improving clarity, structure, and the overall user experience.
A Check-In with Users
The first step in the redesign process was conducting in-depth user research to better understand the target audience and their primary pain points. I gathered insights through a combination of user surveys, website analytics, and stakeholder interviews. The key takeaway from this research was that visitors to the site, particularly hotel managers and staff, needed to immediately understand how Quore could simplify and enhance their day-to-day operations, ultimately improving the guest experience.
Through this research, I identified several core functionalities that the target audience found most valuable, such as guest management, staff coordination, and operational efficiency. Understanding the decision-making process and concerns of these users allowed me to refine the messaging and design to better address their needs.
A New Guest Experience
With the insights gained from user research and testing, I moved forward with creating wireframes to visualize the new homepage layout. The wireframes focused on structuring the page to prioritize the key features and benefits that the target audience cared about most. This involved simplifying the content and ensuring that critical elements such as Quore’s core functionalities and their direct impact on both staff and guest experiences were placed in prominent positions.
The wireframes included clear, digestible sections for each of the software’s key features, such as streamlined guest management tools, real-time staff coordination, and improved operational efficiency. I also ensured that each feature was paired with concise, compelling copy that immediately communicated its value in a way that resonated with the audience’s needs. This structure aimed to remove barriers to understanding and made it easier for visitors to grasp the benefits of Quore within seconds of landing on the page.

The final design not only reimagined the homepage layout but also ensured that it addressed the pain points identified during the research phase. By strategically highlighting guest management, staff coordination, and operational efficiency the design allowed visitors to quickly recognize how Quore could streamline their operations and enhance the guest experience. These features were organized in a logical, easy-to-navigate format that allowed visitors to immediately connect the software’s capabilities with their specific needs.
The improved layout also focused on readability and clarity, using clear headings, concise text, and compelling visuals that showcased the software’s functionality in action. Key benefits were prominently featured, ensuring that visitors could instantly see how the solution could solve their challenges and improve their day-to-day operations. Additionally, I integrated strategically placed calls to action that guided users toward conversion points, such as requesting a demo or signing up for more information.
As a result of this redesign, visitors were able to better understand the value of Quore’s solution within seconds of landing on the page, leading to increased engagement and a higher likelihood of conversion.
